SASSA Takes Expert Services to Fernie Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions into the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency explained it is alarmed regarding the superior variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a large amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office dedicated to service the area regularly. The services issue created for intervention experiences a higher influx of likely beneficiaries, that makes it difficult for that Workplace to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more assets to permit the servicing of website all prospects and boost usage of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
